Indians Wives Association


The Cleveland Indians Wives Association is committed to positively impacting our local community. Throughout the season, the Wives volunteer at a variety of nonprofit organizations. In 2016, the group made six visits to local hospitals, spending time with youth patients doing arts and crafts. This year, the wives will visit Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital and Providence House to visit with youth patients and residents.

The Wives Association will be auctioning off baskets of unique items autographed by players throughout the game on Friday, June 23, 2017.

The Wives Association will be auctioning off game worn autographed players' jerseys throughout the game on Friday, July 7, 2017.

Involved Families

Several wives and their husbands have demonstrated exceptional involvement in the local Cleveland Community.


Meredith and Lonnie Chisenhall
Meredith and Lonnie Chisenhall

Meredith and Lonnie Chisenhall have been actively involved in the American Heart Association. To support the annual Heart and Stroke Ball fundraising event, Meredith put together a Wives Association Recipe Book filled with all of the players' favorite recipes for the event. Additionally, every Tuesday, the Chisenhalls host a family from the Salvation Army to watch batting practice on the field before the game through the Lonnie's Lineup program.


Amanda and Corey Kluber
Amanda and Corey Kluber

Amanda and Corey Kluber have made monthly visits to the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center to meet veteran patients and thank them for their service. Additionally, Amanda and Corey have been committed to hosting a Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital patient at batting practice for every Wednesday home game through the Kluber's Kids program.

Jenna and Yan Gomes

Jenna and Yan Gomes generously sponsored the 2017 Field for the Future field renovation project at Halloran Park on Cleveland's west side. The Gomes' made an appearance at the new baseball field after construction to take time to meet and take pictures with the local youth baseball athletes that regularly use the field.
