The Houston Astros announced the development of a new Guest Services initiative designed to enhance the ballpark experience from start to finish. A key component of the Championship Service program will be a new staff position known as the Guest Services Ambassador.
As one part of the Houston Astros commitment to Championship Service, Guest Services Ambassadors are responsible for greeting and assisting guests throughout the ballpark. Ambassadors welcome guests as they arrive, answer questions, provide information and directions, and offer tips to make the game day experience efficient and hassle free for everyone, whether a first time visitor or a season ticket holder.
According to Astros Vice President of Guest Services, Marty Price, the Ambassadors promise to bring a contagious enthusiasm to the game. "We selected energetic, friendly members of our staff to kick start the program. The Ambassadors are here to help fans have fun and the best way to do that is to have fun themselves."
As many as a dozen Guest Services Ambassadors will be strategically placed to help deliver exceptional quality throughout Minute Maid Park. Several Ambassadors will be found on the perimeter of ballpark to impact arriving guests while others will stroll the concourses to lend a hand with everything from concessions to giveaways.
"The Guest Services Ambassadors are trained and empowered to wow our guests with smiles, Championship Service, and solutions that get things done right the first time," says Price. "It's all about engaging our guests and proving to them that their happiness is our top priority."
