Astros 2012 Perfect Attendance Program

The Astros are once again stepping to the plate and rewarding students for their academic achievements. Students who follow their teachers' leads and work hard have the potential to meet or exceed high academic standards. That's why we're excited to work with schools to help reward students with Astros tickets for maintaining perfect attendance.

The enrollment period for the 2012 Perfect Attendance program is closed. Hundreds of schools are enrolled, and we look forward to providing Astros tickets to the many students that will achieve perfect attendance during the second semester of the school year. Each year, program enrollment is open from mid-October through early December. General information about the Perfect Attendance program is available below.

For more information or questions about the Perfect Attendance Program, contact the Astros Community Affairs department at 713-259-8000.

Program Ground Rules

Eligible Students
  • All students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
  • Students can earn Astros tickets for perfect attendance achieved during the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year (i.e. January 2012 through May/June 2012).
  • Students can earn Astros tickets for each grading cycle that they attain perfect attendance. Yes, that means they can earn Astros tickets more than once during the second semester.

Program Reward
** BONUS **
Maintaining perfect attendance for every grading cycle during the second semester is a great accomplishment! So, the Astros are once again rewarding this extraordinary achievement with a bonus award. Kids who have perfect attendance for every grading cycle during the second semester will be invited to the Astros Academic All-Star Parade and will parade right on the field at Minute Maid Park. They will also receive an additional ticket coupon that can be redeemed for two free tickets on the parade date.
  • Students are rewarded with one Astros ticket coupon (good for two free View Deck II tickets) every time they complete a grading cycle during the second semester with perfect attendance.
  • For example, the maximum number of Astros ticket coupons that could be awarded to a single student on a six week grading cycle is three - i.e. the same student achieves perfect attendance all three second semester grading cycles.
  • The Astros ticket coupons are given to qualifying students by their school.

Redeeming Tickets
  • Ticket coupons given to qualifying students are good for pre-selected Perfect Attendance games.
  • Perfect Attendance game dates and instructions for redeeming the ticket coupons are included on the student's ticket coupon form.
  • Ticket coupons can be redeemed online (processing fees apply), by mail with a $5 processing fee per order or with no processing fees at the Minute Maid Park Box Office daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • All tickets are subject to availability.

How To Register
  • Schools can register for the Perfect Attendance Program by completing the online Perfect Attendance application by December 2, 2011.
  • Schools should designate one program coordinator. This school representative serves as the Astros program liaison to the school and receives all program materials throughout the program. The program coordinator is responsible for distributing ticket forms to qualifying students each grading cycle during the second semester.
  • Each student in grades K-5 is eligible to participate in this program. The Astros encourage schools to make this opportunity available to all classes. Only students that attend a participating, registered school are eligible for the ticket rewards. Individual student registration is not available.
  • Ticket coupons will be sent on or around February 13, 2012 for distribution throughout the second semester by schools to qualifying students.
  • The number of ticket coupons sent to each school is based on the estimate provided by the school in the Perfect Attendance online application.
