Through the strength of the National Pastime, we will enhance the quality of life in our community through educational, health and spiritual endeavors.
This year's Houston Astros Race for the Pennant is presented by the The Methodist Hospital in partnership with the JLH Foundation and endorsed by the Chevron Houston Marathon. Check back for updated list of sponsors.
Free parking will be available in Houston Astros lots A, B & C located off of Preston Street on the east side of Minute Maid Park.
Pets, roller blades, skates, strollers, bicycles, baby joggers, and any other related wheeled devices will be prohibited.
POST RACE EVENTS: The post race party will begin immediately following the race and feature great food, drinks and live entertainment. Special guests will include Astros mascot Junction Jack and his friends along with the Coca-Cola Park Patrol. An awards presentation will also be held during the post race party along with great door prizes. You must be present to win.
Race scoring will be done using the D-Tag. You will not be an official finisher if you do not wear the D-Tag on your shoe.

Awards will be given to the winners of the following categories: first place overall male and female finisher, top male and female in each age category, and top three male and three female finishers in each age category. The age categories are: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,65-69, 70+
Junction Jack's Kids Fun RunThe Fun Run is non-competitive. All kids will receive medals (12 and under).

Finish Line: Inside Minute Maid Park
The course will begin in downtown Houston outside of Minute Maid Park. Like every year, the race will end on the field inside beautiful Minute Maid Park. Check back for specific route details.
