School Programs

The Houston Astros and the Houston Chronicle partner with surrounding schools to award children for Perfect Attendance and Honor Roll during the first grading period of the each new year. The Perfect Attendance Program is open to children in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade and the Honor Roll Program is open to students in grades 6 through 12.

Summer Reading Program

In the summer months, the Astros and the Houston Chronicle team up with Houston-area libraries and other surrounding areas to reward children through the Summer Reading Program. Astros game tickets are rewarded to children who read 20 books during the months of June through August.
