The Houston Astros will be celebrating our annual Heroes Night on Friday, September 11 prior to the Astros vs. Pirates game. This special evening will honor all of those who serve in our local police forces, fire departments, and EMS teams along with those that protect our Nation as part of the United States Armed Forces. It is the daily sacrifice of these brave men & women along with their families that keep our community safe and secure.
Arrive early for a special pregame ceremony that will honor the medal of valor recipients from the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Departments along with a Purple Heart recipient from the United States Army. Making the tribute even more moving, all local uniformed police, fire and EMS workers along members of our Armed Forces are invited to be down on the field and circle the warning track as part of the pregame ceremony.
If you are a member of a local police, fire or EMS department or a member of the Armed Forces, the Houston Astros are offering nearly 50% off tickets for you and your guests for the September 11th game.
