Race packets will be available on race day beginning at 6:30 am or in advance at Academy Sports + Outdoors. Race day registration is located on Texas Avenue outside Minute Maid Park.

All races will begin in front of Union Station along Crawford Street and finish inside Minute Maid Park. The 5K will do one loop of the course shown on the map above and the 10K will complete 2 loops of the course.

Free parking for participants will be available in Houston Astros lots A, B & C located off of Preston Street on the east side of Minute Maid Park.
All participants are invited to the post-race party held at Minute Maid Park.
The top male and top female 10K and 5K runners in each age group - Prizes to be determined -
*10K and 5K Race Age Groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ *Prizes will be awarded in each age group.
Race results will be available on site and online at www.astros.com/run.
Pets, roller blades, skates, strollers, bicycles, baby joggers, and any other-related wheeled devices will be prohibited.

September is Hunger Action Month, when the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks unites to urge individuals to take action in their communities. This is your opportunity to participate in a movement that has a real and lasting impact on the mission to help end hunger in America. On race day, the Astros Foundation and the Houston Police Foundation are hosting a canned food drive benefiting the Houston Food Bank. Participants in the Badges & Bases Run are encouraged to bring
1 non-perishable food item. Collection barrels will be available at convenient drop off points in the designated parking areas so you can drop off your donations as you park your car.

• Canned tuna/chicken, packed in water
• Canned stews, pasta
• Peanut butter
• Dried beans
• 100% juice cans or boxes
• Canned vegetables, tomatoes, tomato sauce, fruits in light syrup
• Cereals and cereal bars, easy on sugar and fat
• Pasta, spaghetti, macaroni, noodles
