Get your running/walking shoes out and join us for the Badges & Bases 10K/5K Run at Minute Maid Park on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Kids 12 & under can enter the Kids Fun Run and all participants will receive a Commemorative t-shirt.

Race packets will be available on race day beginning at 6:30am or in advance at Academy Sports + Outdoors - dates and location to be announced. Race day registration is located on Texas Avenue outside Minute Maid Park.

Free parking for participants will be available in Houston Astros lots A, B & C located off of Preston Street on the east side of Minute Maid Park.
All participants are invited to the post-race party held on Crawford Street outside Union Station.
The top male and top female 10K and 5K runners in each age group - Prizes to be determined -
*10K and 5K Race Age Groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ *Prizes will be awarded in each age group.
Race results will be posted by 11:30am following the conclusion of the race and online at www.astros.com/run.
Pets, roller blades, skates, strollers, bicycles, baby joggers, and any other-related wheeled devices will be prohibited.
September is Hunger Action Month, when the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks unites to urge individuals to take action in their communities. This is your opportunity to participate in a movement that has a real and lasting impact on the mission to help end hunger in America. On race day, the Astros Foundation and the Houston Police Foundation are hosting a canned food drive benefiting the Houston Food Bank. Participants in the Badges & Bases Run are encouraged to bring 1 non-perishable food item. Collection barrels will be available at convenient drop off points in the designated parking areas so you can drop off your donations as you park your car.

• 100% juice cans or boxes
• Canned vegetables, tomatoes, tomato sauce, fruits in light syrup
