The Astros Pink in the Park brunch typically occurs near Mother's Day as part of the Astros' Pink in the Park week. Proceeds benefit the Houston branch of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure through the Astros in Action Foundation. Corporate partners can get involved by purchasing a table and enjoying the brunch with an Astros player or coach and his mother/wife.
Every year, thousands of runners from the state of Texas come together for the Astros Race for the Pennant 5K Run/Walk.
