The Houston College Classic returns to Minute Maid Park on March 5-7, 2010. This year's Classic features teams from the University of Houston, Rice, Texas, Texas Tech, TCU and Missouri. As part of Major League Baseball's initiative to assist the victims of the destructive earthquake in Haiti, the Houston Astros have launched the "Hitting Homeruns for Haiti" auction. This program features a number of incredible Astros experiences available for bid, with the proceeds benefiting UNICEF's Haiti Relief Fund.

Look for some new items at Astros Authentics this season. On April 10th the Astros and Phillies will be wearing their 1965 uniforms as part of a season-long 45th anniversary celebration of the Astros. Houston's first-ever regular season game as the Astros was against Philadelphia on April 12, 1965. All uniforms from the Turn Back the Clock game will be authenticated by an MLB representative and made available exclusively through Astros Authentics. Autographed items from your favorite players will also be available this year along with action photos from the new "Shooting Star Gallery".
Congratulations to Joe Seymour, our winner of last month's trivia question. Joe wins an MLB authenticated game-used baseball from the 2009 season. The correct answer was on December 1, 1964, Roy Hofheinz announced the Colt .45s were changing their name to the Astros.

Yvonne will celebrate her 20th anniversary with the Astros organization this season. She has played several key roles within the Ticket Department from box office operations to her current role of processing and distributing our youth based ticket programs such as, Summer Reading, Perfect Attendance and Honor Roll.
