The Astros open the 2011 season at Minute Maid Park April 8th-10th with a weekend series against the Florida Marlins. Checkout the schedule below with all of the great events and activities during Astros Opening Weekend!

Gates open at 4:00 p.m.

• 11:30am-4:30pm - Opening Day Street Fest
  The Opening Day Street Fest is free to the public and will take place on Crawford Street in front of Minute Maid Park. The day will feature live music throughout the Street Fest, food, drinks and interactive games and prizes. The day will also include two pep rallies with Astros players and personnel on the Budweiser stage.
• 12:30pm - Pep Rally with Astros Front Office personnel
• 4:15pm - Pep Rally with Astros Players
• 6:05pm - Astros vs. Marlins
  
  Promotions Include:
  Schedule Magnet courtesy of United Airlines first 40,000 fans
  Friday Night Fireworks presented by Marathon Oil Corporation after the game
• Japan Relief Effort
  Help the Astros and MLB support the relief efforts of UNICEF in Japan by making a cash donation at the gates on Opening Day. Astros employees will have UNICEF and Astros branded buckets to accept donations at gates around Minute Maid Park to accept donations.
