The Kansas City Royals and Royals Charities are committed to being active members of the Kansas City community and region. Created in 2001, Royals Charities strives to support children, education, youth baseball/softball, and military in and around the Kansas City area. Together with the Glass family, Royals Charities and the Kansas City Royals are proud to partner with organizations like Braden's Hope for Childhood Cancer to make a difference in our community.
Royals Charities is partnering with Braden's Hope to feature 12 of your Kansas City Royals with 12 local childhood cancer heroes! 2016 "A Year of Hope Royals Calendar" expected to be available in September! All proceeds benefit important childhood cancer research.
Braden's Hope For Childhood Cancer is a 501©(3) whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for research grants to hospitals and/or research institutions in the amount of $100,000. Their grants are given in the amount of $100,000 rather than smaller amounts because it makes a sizable difference for research and grants in that donations that size are additionally seen by the National Institute of Health as "SEED Money," making it more likely the NIH will contribute to those research efforts as well.
Thank you for supporting Royals Charities & Braden's Hope for Childhood Cancer!
