The Padres needed a strong effort from Woody Williams in Game 3 to stay alive in the NLDS, but he lasted just 1 2/3 innings, allowing five runs on six hits as the Friars were eliminated. After falling behind early, San Diego rallied as Eric Young and Mark Loretta hit RBI singles and Dave Roberts and Ramon Hernandez belted solo shots, but it wasn't enough. Complete story >
