The White Sox have lost just one game in this postseason in posting a 9-1 overall record. Chicago was 3-0 in the Division Series versus Boston and 4-1 in the American League Championship Series against Anaheim before going up 2-0 in the Fall Classic.
Since the advent of the Division Series in 1995, only two other teams have started a postseason with nine wins in 10 games, Atlanta in 1995 and the Yankees in 1999. Both went on to win the World Series.
