Braves at the plate: Yunel Escobar went 2-for-3 and scored a run. Jeff Francoeur contributed a three-run homer off right-hander Runelvys Hernandez in the fourth inning. Josh Anderson hit a two-run single in the ninth to tie it before Martin Prado's two-run single in the ninth won it.

Astros at the plate: Ty Wigginton homered off Tom Glavine in the second inning. Hunter Pence went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the day. Nick Gorneault's double in the eighth scored David Newhan to break a 3-3 tie. Gorneault later scored on an error.

Braves on the mound: Glavine, pitching with a Braves uniform on for the first time since 2002, recorded two strikeouts and allowed one run in two innings against the Astros. Ryan Drese was touched for a pair of runs in two innings and Royce Ring pitched a scoreless frame.

Astros on the mound: Woody Williams faced the minimum, allowing one hit in two innings of work. The veteran right-hander gave up a single to Escobar, who was thrown out by Reggie Abercrombie trying to stretch it into a double. Williams recorded strikeouts of Mark Teixeira and Francoeur. Stephen Randolph entered the ninth with one on and issued two walks before giving up a decisive two-run single to Prado to cap a four-run Atlanta ninth.

Grapefruit League record: Astros 1-2, Braves 2-1.

Up next: Shawn Chacon, bidding for a spot in the Houston rotation, gets a chance to make his case Sunday when he starts against the Washington Nationals in a 1:05 p.m. ET at Osceola County Stadium. Felipe Paulino, Wesley Wright, Jose Valverde, Mosh Muecke and Mike DeJean are also scheduled to pitch for the Astros. Left-hander John Lannan is scheduled to start for the Nationals.

The Astros will send a split squad up Highway 192 to face Atlanta at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Brandon Backe will make his first start of the spring against Atlanta left-hander Mike Hampton. Chris Sampson, Geoff Geary and Chad Paronto will also make the trip. Rafael Soriano, Zach Shreiber, Phil Stockman and Chris Resop will follow Hampton to the hill.
