FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Brett Myers had mixed results in his Minor League outing at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Fla., on Friday.

The 27-year-old righty allowed four runs on five hits over 6 2/3 innings and fanned five. Each of the runs charged to him came in the final frame of his 100-pitch outing.

Myers is not suffering from an injury but stayed behind to throw in Clearwater so that the Phillies, who played against the Twins 2 1/2 hours south from Philadelphia's Spring Training home, could take a better look at Adam Eaton on the mound before they solidify the decision to make him the No. 5 starter.
