Astros send Quintero to 15-day DL
Catcher has shoulder injury; Towles recalled
HOUSTON -- The Astros placed catcher Humberto Quintero on the 15-day disabled list on Saturday and recalled J.R. Towles from Triple-A Round Rock.
Quintero hurt his right shoulder during a collision at the plate with Mike Cameron during Friday's game.
Towles is expected to be in uniform for Saturday's game with the Brewers.
