Astros announce 2011 Spring Training Schedule
Home Schedule Includes Popular Opponents, Several Weekend Dates

HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Astros unveiled their 2011 Spring Training schedule today. The club returns to Osceola County Stadium in sunny Kissimmee, Florida for the 27th season, where they will play 15 of their 29 Spring Training games, including six games on weekend dates.

The Astros open the 2011 Grapefruit League season on Monday, February 28 on the road vs. the Atlanta Braves, and then play their Home Opener on Tuesday, March 1 at Osceola County Stadium, also against the Braves. Start times to all Spring games will be announced at a later date.

The 2011 home schedule features several attractive dates throughout the month of March, and includes the NL Central Division rival St. Louis Cardinals visiting OCS on Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 19, and the 2009 World Series Champion New York Yankees on Sunday, March 6. The Big Apple's other club, the New York Mets, will visit OCS on Tuesday, March 8, and the 2008-09 NL Champion Philadelphia Phillies will be in Kissimmee on Monday, March 14.

Additional teams included on the Astros home schedule are the Florida Marlins (March 3), Washington Nationals (March 10, 16, 26), Baltimore Orioles (March 12), Pittsburgh Pirates (March 20), Detroit Tigers (March 21, 27) and the 2010 AL East Division Champion Tampa Bay Rays (March 24).

ASTROS TO VISIT OKLAHOMA CITY, HOST RED SOX IN HOUSTON
Following their Florida schedule of games, the Astros will fly to Oklahoma City to play an exhibition game vs. their new Triple A affiliate, the Oklahoma City RedHawks, on Tuesday, March 29. The Astros will then return to Houston to host the Boston Red Sox for two exhibition games on March 30 and 31 at Minute Maid Park.

Season tickets for Florida Spring Training games can be purchased now by calling (321) 697-3201. Season ticket prices for all 15 games are $330 for Dugout Box Seats, $300 for Outfield Box Seats, $270 for Upper Reserved Seats and $225 for Outfield Reserved Seats. Fans also have the option of purchasing the "Bagwell Weekend Plan," which includes tickets to all six Saturday and Sunday home games and is priced starting at $108. All season ticket plans include free parking.

Individual game tickets for Spring Training games in Florida go on sale Saturday, January 22 at 10 a.m. (ET). They can be purchased in several ways: online at ww.astros.com; at the Osceola County Stadium box office (home games only) or by telephone and in person at Florida Ticketmaster outlets (home and road games). The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on all game days. Osceola County Stadium ticket prices for individual games are: $24 for Dugout Box Seats, $22 for Outfield Box Seats, $20 for Upper Reserved Seats and $15 for Outfield Reserved Seats. Please note that tickets to any of the three premium games (Cardinals, Yankees, Phillies) are $3.00 higher per ticket.
