Pettitte gets another shot at Rangers

Texas (38-34) at Houston (32-40), Sunday, 1:05 p.m. CT

The Houston Astros will attempt to win their fifth series in six tries on Sunday in the Lone Star series finale with the Texas Rangers. Regardless of the outcome of Sunday's game, the Rangers have won this year's Silver Boot after taking all three games in Arlington in May.

Left-hander Andy Pettitte will make his 16th career start against Texas in the finale, his first since July 4 of last year. Pettitte has lost three straight to the Rangers, including a defeat last year in his only start against Texas.

Pettitte is 11-8 with a 4.56 ERA over 28 Interleague starts in his career. He's 3-3 with a 3.15 ERA in seven starts at home this season, but has lost three of four at Minute Maid Park since May 12.
