Rodriguez eyes return to rotation
Lefty to test strained groin, could start for Astros on Tuesday

Rodriguez, who has been on the disabled list since April 20 because of a strained left groin, is eligible to come off the disabled list on Monday, an off-day. If he's cleared to pitch, the lefty could start Tuesday night against the Nationals at Minute Maid Park.
"We've just got to try and get Wandy past his little soreness from a groin injury standpoint," Astros manager Cecil Cooper said before Friday's game against Milwaukee. "He's going to try and throw tomorrow; hopefully he'll be able to throw. We'll have him checked out by the doctor tonight."
If Rodriguez isn't ready to go?
"Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it," Cooper said. "We've got some other arms out there that we can use. We'll just wait and see. There's a possibility that we could move everybody up one day, because Wandy was actually scheduled to go Tuesday or Wednesday and maybe even Thursday. We probably wouldn't need a guy until Friday if he's not able to go."
Rodriguez is 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA in four starts.
