In a vote by his fellow Major Leaguers, Colorado's Carlos Gonzalez was named Player of the Year at the 2010 Players Choice Awards. Among others taking home the honors, which are selected by secret ballot, was Marvin Miller Man of the Year Brandon Inge. More information > | Past winners >
Rookie Career Development
The Players Association and Major League Baseball each January bring together several of each club’s top prospects to take part in the Rookie Career Development Program, a private, four-day gathering in which the players get to know each other and learn about life in the big leagues.
